Privacy Declaration

The protection of your data is important to Bayer 04 Leverkusen Fußball GmbH (hereinafter 'Bayer 04'). The Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz) and the Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz) are the legal basis for our actions in this context. In the following you will find further information about which data we save and to what purpose.

1. Anonymous Data

You can visit Bayer 04 websites without the disclosure of your identity. The only information we receive is the name of your internet service provider, the website from which you are visiting us as well as the websites of ours you are visiting. This information is used solely for statistical purposes to ensure the safety and integrity of our systems. As an individual user you remain anonymous.

2. Personal Data

2.1 Personal data: personal data are information which may be used to find out your identity (name, address, postal address, telephone number etc.). Information which are not directly associated with your actual identity (e.g. favourite websites or number of website users) are not considered personal data.
2.2 Collection, processing, use: your personal data are collected, processed and used by Bayer 04 to the extent that is necessary to initiate, arrange and amend the contractual relationship. The collected personal data are used first and foremost to implement the contract and to process your requests (i.e. in particular for contract implementation including payment processing, shipping and service) as well as being processed and used in relation to safety concerns.
2.3 Storage: we make every effort to store your personal data using all technical and organisational options so as to make them inaccessible for third parties. As we are unable to guarantee complete data privacy when communicating by email, we advise using the usual postal route to send us confidential information.
To the extent permitted by the law the personal data required for the business transaction is saved and if necessary for the completion of the transaction passed on to associate companies of Bayer 04 , forwarders and/or banks for settlement of payment.

3. Data Transfer to Third Parties

3.1 Order processing: we only transfer your personal data to our service providers and partner companies for the completion of the order and the purpose of customer care. These companies undertake to only use the personal data for this purpose and are also obligated to uphold all applicable data protection regulations.
3.2 Security matters: your personal data may be used to avert dangers for public safety and /or law and order and passed on to law enforcement to prosecute criminal offences, as long as this complies with legal regulations.
3.3 Miscellaneous transfer: any other transfer of your personal data to third parties does not occur, unless you have given your express consent. This consent may be withdrawn at any time without stating reasons with effect for the future. Where applicable, we may be obligated due to legal provisions to disclose your data to third parties. Requests of that nature are only permissible as part of a legal obligation and after a thorough examination if such an obligation actually exists.

4. Cookies
Some of our services require the use of cookies.
Cookies are alphanumerical identifiers, small text files we transmit to the hard disk of your computer via your web browser or other programs. 6. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service from Google Inc. (hereinafter 'Google'). Google Analytics uses cookies. The information saved in these cookies about your use of our website (including your IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website on our behalf, compiling reports on your website activity and providing information to us about your use of the website and Internet services. Pseudonymous user profiles may be created using the processed data. We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymisation. That means that the user's IP address is abbreviated by Google in the European member states and the contracting member states of Treaty on the European Economic Area. In very limited cases the complete IP address is transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. Google will under no circumstances link your IP address with any other data held by Google. You can prevent the saving of cookies by changing the appropriate setting within your Internet browser. 7. Information, Revoking consent

7.1 Information: in accordance with § 34 und § 35 of the Federal Data Protection Act you are entitled to be furnished at no charge with information on the personal data stored about you.
7.2 Revoking consent: you may revoke any consent for the use, processing and transfer of your personal data for marketing purposes with future effect at any given time without stating reasons (a simple letter by post to Bayer 04 Leverkusen Fußball GmbH, Datenschutz, Bismarckstraße 122-124, 51373 Leverkusen or an E-mail to datenschutz@bayer04.de). In addition, you are also entitled according to legal provisions to ask for this personal data to be corrected, blocked or deleted.
